The Glo2Facial with RF Pro combines multiple technologies in one treatment with little to no downtime: radiofrequency, Oxfoliation, ultrasound, and massage. Unlike treatments that apply oxygen directly to the skin, Glo2’s Oxfoliation technology is designed to oxygenate the skin from within while simultaneously exfoliating the surface. Ultrasound is then used to support the delivery of beneficial ingredients into the skin, while the massage step helps leave the complexion looking refreshed and less puffy. RF Pro works more deeply, delivering controlled radiofrequency energy to the dermal layer to support collagen production and improve the appearance of firmness, fine lines, and overall skin quality over time.
Combining these technologies allows the treatment to address both immediate skin quality and longer term collagen support in the same appointment. What makes Astra's approach different
I was very intentional about adding a facial to Astra because I didn’t want to offer a treatment simply because patients expect a med spa to have one. Glo2 RF Pro made sense to me because it goes beyond a traditional facial. It gives patients the immediate benefits they want, like brighter, smoother, more hydrated-looking skin, while RF Pro adds the collagen support that aligns with how I approach long term skin health.
I also like that it fills an important space in my treatment menu. Not everyone needs a peel, microneedling, or an injectable every time they come in. Sometimes the right treatment is one that supports the skin, requires essentially no downtime, and still has technology behind it that makes sense to me clinically.

A very common type of patient at Astra is someone who wants to start taking better care of their skin but isn’t ready for Botox, filler, microneedling, or a treatment with visible downtime. Glo2 RF Pro gives that patient an easy entry point into the practice without making them feel like they have to jump immediately into a more intensive treatment.
